If you didn’t already know, I left London at the end of last year and moved to Margate on the Kent coast (fun fact: I now live closer to France than I do to London!).

One of my favourite places to explore since moving here has been the historic university city of Canterbury. I recently played my first Kent DJ gig at The John (highly recommend – it’s a lovely spot), and I also had the pleasure of connecting the handsome chaps behind Pup and Tiger, a new Queer Art Café in the making. Their vision is beautiful: not just a space to serve great coffee, but a platform for LGBTQ+ artists – especially those from underrepresented communities – to exhibit work, perform, and run workshops.

They’ve launched a crowdfunder to bring the space to life, and it ends THIS THURSDAY. I’m really delighted to support them and help spread the word. Let’s get this brilliant,

much-needed queer project over the line!

If you are in a position to help the guys out here's a link to their crowdfunder

Even the smallest donation will help this project succeed and there are some great rewards on offer. Check it out and give Pup & Tiger a follow on the 'gram @pupandtiger

I'll be following this project really closely, so look out for more soon.
