I can't believe we're already nearly a week in to January! Does anyone else feel like Christmas was a lifetime ago? Still there's lots of exciting things going on with meat already.
I announced at the end of 2019 that this, 2020, meat's tenth anniversary would be the last year of the project and I've been overwehelmed by your reaction and the messages of support and encouragement I've recieved. It wasn't an easy decision but there are other projects to explore and after 10 years, it feels like the right time to call it a day. There is sitll plenty more meat to come though!
We've just announced the line up for our first party of 2020 on 25th January at Dalston Superstore, really hope you can kick of the new year in banging style. We have some great DJs as always, the cream of the London scene. It's always a great crowd and usually rammed to the rafters by midnight. To avoid the queue you can pick up a cheap ticket here
The much anticipated ginger issue is back from the printers this week. There has been a brilliant response to it so far and I think you guys are going to love it! There are still a few print issues left in the store and a digital edition is now available to download.
As we're celebrating the tenth anniversary of the first issue of meat I thought it would be a good time to produces some fine art prints of some classic meat shots. They're available exclusively in the online store
If they go down well, I'll be adding more guys throughout the year. For now there are 12 prints to choose from, each a limited edition of /50. They're signed and numbered and come in an embossed folder mount. What's more, if you buy two you get a third free! Let me know what you think, and who you would like to see on a print.
I just want to take this opportunity to thank you guys again for all the support. If you've bought something from the store, posed for the magazine, come to a party or just enjoyed the content. It really means a lot.
If you would like to pose for meat this year (I'm already looking for guys to be in the naked calendar 2021!) or just want to say hello, I'd love to hear from you. Drop me a line at hello@meatzine.com
In the meantime I wish you all the best for 2020.
Adrian (meat)
